This is one of the best budget hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot. PROS: The room is very big with a couch and the biggest room fridge I've ever seen. It's cleaner than any red roof or econolodge, although I'm not saying it was spotless. The bed has a comfortable and firm mattress with good pillows, and there is an actual comforter with filling. The included breakfast is really great and included a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bagels, bread, bananas, various cereals, various juices, tons of condiments, and more. CONS: The first floor hallway reeks of cigarette smoke, and they have smoking rooms right next to nonsmoking rooms. First floor rooms have sliding doors that are not very secure, rather than windows. A metal stick is used to keep it "locked". Aside from that, there is not an actual working door lock. Mine additionally was broken and would not close after I opened it. It was infuriating. The front desk attendant couldn't get it closed for me either, and her fiance actually had to come and force it shut. Their computer system was down when I arrived, and I had to let them photocopy my ID and credit card, which I feel is a financial security concern.

This is one of the best budget motels we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. Clean room, large room with couch, desk, large bathroom, mini refrigerator with some vintage decor. Great breakfast fully replenished at 9 a.m. for weekend breakfast until 10 a.m. Grounds well kept with beautiful flowers. Friendly staff, low pet fee of $15. We used the patio door to load and unload belongings. Hope to return and stay a few days.

I come here a lot because I live out of town and my boyfriends family is from here. We are here on a regular basis. The staff is always very nice, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the area is not bad either. This is my go to spot for when I come to town.

It was an interesting stay. The room looked nice and clean but half the lighting did not work as well as some of the electrical outlets. The bathtub does not drain well and we were left in ankle deep water by the end of a shower. The heater turned on briefly but did not put out heat. Luckily its not winter. All in all things that are annoying but dealable. The evening desk clerk could use some work as he was rude when we asked if there was any silverware as we had brought back a desert and the restaurant forgot it. "They have to order it every week for breakfast and could not use it for anything else" way to make your customers comfortable.

Check-in was great, the clerk was friendly and helpful despite a steady stream of phone calls. The room was clean, comfortable, and the additional pillows I requested with the reservation were there. There were minor issues with the room, such as electrical outlets that were worn out to the point that they would not hold the plugs, and a broken support on the desk. Nothing of great concern. The AC worked great, and the refrigerator was cold, which was a relief to me. We were advised that there was a mother with 2 such children in the room above us, and to let management know if there was any issue with nose from them. We never heard them. Breakfast the next morning was more than adequate for our appetites. The only hitch we had was with the plumbing. While taking a shower in the morning, my girlfriend suddenly lost all hot water pressure. She rinsed off and finished, but we mentioned this to the front desk clerk after breakfast. She explained that our party of the hotel was being converted from a hot water tank to tables got water that morning, and that we should not have been placed in that room. She offered to let us use another room to get showers if we wanted, but it was not necessary. It was a very kind offer, and more than enough to make up for the mistake. I expect to be starting in this hotel again. It was a good night's start for a reasonable price.

I stayed here for a business trip and it was a very nice hotel, the breakfast was okay and my room was very clean. The cleaning lady Brianne was very nice and sweet and made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel was full of children though and was very noisy at times at night.

The staff was friendly, our room was clean and they had the air on already when we arrived. Most hotels keep the heat/air off until you check in and it takes forever to heat up or cool the room down. The beds were comfy and each bed had three pillows with different types of fill so you could choose the one you liked best. Breakfast was also good and had a decent variety. I thought the room was a little pricey, but everything was almost sold out on a Saturday night and nothing else decent in the price range. The only two things I didn't like was they have no elevator so we had to walk up to the second floor, and the carpeting on the stairs really needed a good cleaning.

Great staff and clean room. Continental breakfast is not good. No toast/bagels, cereal. All they had is waffles and coffee. For my visit the juice machine had no juice. If you want a frozen breakfast sandwich you must go to front desk.
